Who we are

This website is operated by Acumen Enterprises, a transformation firm based in Gurugram, Haryana, India. The data fiduciary (controller) for any personal information collected on this site is Acumen Enterprises, reachable at hello@acumenenterprises.in.

What we collect

The only personal information we actively collect is what you choose to share through the application form on /apply: your name, your role, your email address, your phone or WhatsApp (optional), the name of your business or project, your website, your industry, your stage or scale, your description of what is broken or what you want to build, your description of what success looks like, and how you heard about us.

We do not run advertising trackers, behavioural profiling, or third-party marketing pixels. We use a privacy-respecting analytics service to count anonymous page views and understand which content is read; this does not identify you.

Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) are retained for a short period for security and operational diagnostics only.

Why we collect it

Solely to read your application, decide whether there is a fit for an engagement, and respond to you. That is the entire purpose. We will not use your information for any other purpose without your explicit consent.

Your consent and your rights

By submitting the application form, you provide informed consent for us to process the information you supply, for the purpose described above. Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

• access the personal information we hold about you;
• request correction of any inaccurate information;
• request erasure of your information when it is no longer needed;
• withdraw consent at any time;
• nominate another person to exercise these rights in the event of your death or incapacity;
• raise a grievance with us directly.

How we store it

Applications are received via a third-party form processor that delivers them to our email. From there, applications live in our private email and document systems, accessible only to the small team that needs to read them. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with any third party for marketing or any other purpose.

We retain applications for as long as is reasonably useful to maintain the relationship and any engagement that may follow. If you ask us to delete your application, we will do so promptly, retaining only what is required by law.

Children

This website is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.

Changes to this practice

If we change how we handle data in any material way, we will update this page and update the date at the top. We do not believe in burying changes in fine print.

Grievances

If you believe your data has been mishandled, write to us at hello@acumenenterprises.in with the subject line "Privacy grievance". We acknowledge within seven days and respond substantively within thirty.
