What is Acumen Enterprises?
Acumen Enterprises is an independent business transformation firm based in Gurugram, India. We rebuild family businesses, build new ventures from idea to funded product, deliver targeted interventions for growing operations, and architect AI adoption for legacy businesses. We take on two to three engagements a year, and each one is taken personally.
How is Acumen different from a management consultancy?
We ship systems rather than write reports. A consultancy hands you a deck and an invoice for hours. We embed inside the business, rebuild the architecture, and run alongside the owner until the new operating model holds on its own. We do not pitch, we do not bill by the hour, and we do not take on more clients than we can serve.
What kinds of businesses do you work with?
Family businesses that have crossed real revenue and reached the ceiling of their own systems. Founders with an idea who need help across validation, build, patent filing, and fundraising. Growing businesses that need a precise intervention rather than a full rebuild. And legacy operations adopting AI for genuine advantage rather than technology theatre.
How does an engagement work?
Every engagement runs through three phases. Diagnose, around four weeks, where we embed inside the business and map every revenue-bearing system. Design, around six weeks, where we rebuild the architecture before we touch the team. Deploy, twelve to twenty-four weeks, where we ship, hire, train, and run alongside the owner until the new operating model is muscle memory.
What does Acumen actually deliver?
It depends on the diagnosis. Across engagements we are doing one of five things: identifying what to build, what to fine tune, where intelligence belongs, what to leave alone, and what to ship next. The output has ranged from custom software and CRMs to AI receptionists, full operational rebuilds, and ventures taken from idea to funded product.
What does Acumen charge?
We do not bill by the hour and we do not publish rates. Engagements are scoped to the rebuild, not to time. What an engagement costs is discussed once we understand the business and the work it genuinely needs.
